Approach

I take great pride in my work as a therapist to help others be more confident and self-assured in every day life. My approach to therapy is relational, directive and solution focused; not clinical or prescriptive. I am not here to label you or tell you what you need. I am here to listen, to understand and to comprehend your story in a way that will help you be the best version of you. I see and offer support to a diverse group of clients across all stages of life.
Through open communication, we can work through whatever presents, for you, together.

The modalities that I use in my practice are:
Somatic Experiencing (SE) for working with trauma and other shock emotions.
I have achieved the designation of Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Attachment-Focused Therapy.

Individual Therapy

I strive to connect with my clients in a way that is mutually respectful and caring, creating a safe space for you to open up freely, without judgment. I help you to look at your life holistically (where you’ve been, where you are now and where you desire to be) guiding us to a deeper understanding. If you are facing a conflict or troubled environment or struggling with something that feels out of your control, do not suffer alone. Speak confidentially and openly and we can find the answers.

I am passionate about helping my clients with the following:

Cognitive BehavioralTherapy (CBT-I)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is an evidence-based, multi-component treatment approach for the treatment and management of insomnia. It involves targeting different factors that may impact your sleep. This treatment is considered to be short-term, meaning duration can be anywhere between 4-8 sessions. If you experience difficulties falling and/or staying asleep, and/or waking up too early despite adequate opportunity for sleep and it is impacting your ability to function during the day, this treatment may be for you.
